For almost 15 years, the Capitol&Palatin arthouse cinemas in Mainz, Germany, were the place to be, not just for cineastes – readings and concerts also took place there regularly. And then she came, the soulless real estate company that bought the building and planned to demolish it for profitable condominiums.
The cinemas’ website required maximum clarity with five halls with constantly changing films and many special events. A lot of information had to be conveyed as elegantly as possible and updated at short notice, which required an extensive backend. There have been three relaunches, the pictures below only show the latest version.
The site had 3000 – 8000 website views per day.
